Tank Jowett successfully argued a submission of no case to answer in the multi-million-pound money laundering trial, Operation Tobaccophil, which was linked to the 70-kilo importation of cocaine and heroin.
While the co-defendants were all convicted, the trial judge was persuaded by legal arguments based on the G&F line of authorities relating to inferences, resulting in our client being cleared of all charges.
